  Autour Du Paradis is indeed a little paradise tucked away in a narrow cobbled street and very central to everything, shops, food markets and the sights. We had the top floor apartment which was lovely, quite large and tastefully decorated with a view over the rooftops and courtyard. The central courtyard was an oasis of peace and although you are just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town you are well-insulated from the daily hubbub.   We enjoyed the unique experience of living on a boat for a few days. It was a new experience for us and certainly made our trip to France more memorable. It was great watching the rowers go by and we found we were well situated to see the Pont Du Avignon and were close to the old city. Its moored just upstream of the famous bridge at Avignon, but is completely secluded with a pool, hammocks and recliners on deck which you can use during the day if you wish. Breakfasts are superb and taken on deck; the staff couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended!
