Wi-Fi was free. Breakfast cost additional 8 euros per day per person, but it was tasty and cheap within the average cost of meal in Paris. There is a lift which isn't common when staying in Paris so the lift was small but useful. The wifi was fast. The room and bathroom were very clean. The facilities were modern and well looked after. Don't despair, some of the best bakeries in Paris are all within a two block radius of the hotel and McDonald, if you can handle it, is right next door. Only 4.5 ks from the Eiffel Tower & the same from the louvre. Probably one of the cheapest hotels in Paris.

The value for quality is excellent in a city where you often have to pay top price for mediocre accomodations and service. My room this time (302) was very quiet and facing the courtyard. Free - Hotel du Home Moderne is an excellent value, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. We were particularly impressed with the staff. Guillume and Jennifer, who manned the front desk, were outstanding. They always went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. At the buffet breakfast, Lore managed the breakfast room with efficiency and good humor. We also enjoyed the non-touristy neighborhood, which has lots of little shops and cafes and is conveniently located near transportation.
