In my opinion this Hostel is very good.;).I spend great time there.;).They have nice staff who can help you to find something what you need.Good Wi-Fi, clean room.Near Hostel is shop where you can buy almost everything.After my check out I could stay and wait for my bus to the aiport.That is direct conection to the aiport by bus 615 or 620.Thank you - all staff ( not only reception ) for everything.Kiitos.;).
all reviews » I have never stayed at hostel before cheapsleep, that is why I can not compare it with any other hostel, but my overall experience was great, nice clean a bit noisy hostel, but if you there for ice hockey as a fan you dont really care about noise. I had the pleasure of meeting Oliver(manager) who was great!!! Great location to get to Hartwall Arena, 15 min walk, or tram 7B(7min). We have chosen this hostel, because it is affordable and comfortable, located relatively not far away from the city centre. Personnel is very kind and helpful. Want to say a big "thank you" to russian girl Arina, who works there. She helped us a lot and explained where to go and what to do in Helsinki. So next time we will definatelly stay in your hostel. I truly loved this hostel! It is just a short walk from the bus stops. The staff are very nice and welcoming. My room was spacious, very well appointed and quiet. I did not hear any noise from the kitchen and hall. When back in Helsinki, I shall stay here again. - Really good price - Big kitchen for common use (and with luck you can find free food that people leave behind :)) - Bus station right in front - Supermarket in the same building - Check-out is ridiculously simple (you just have to drop your key card into a box). There were not too many people in the hall, very clean , we had towels, and access to working and clean bathroom, there was not noisy, the temprature in rooms were perfect - so in a whole it`s ideal hostel for the costs. Almost everything! People at the reception are very kind, patient and friendly, always willing to help! Very nice atmosphere, calmly and fun at the same time! I will stay in this Hostel again next time for sure!. Great staff, modern, cheap, buses to the city center in front of the hostel and it takes 7-8 minutes to go to the metro station (Sörnäinen), restaurants and supermarkets everywhere... Really good!. The price/value is very good, located walking distance from Hartwall arena, and right next to a tram stop. Personell is friendly, open kitchen, and foodstore downstairs. nice and groovy people, simple design and service. So cool th hostel has its own kitchen room, so treveller can save some money while cooking by himself big up, guys!. Nice and cheap :). clean and cozy. location is good , cleanliness ok , but too much poeple in the room ,luck of respiration and no washing machine. - The beds make way too much noise at the slightest movement. I saw people in my room simply taking off their matresses and sleeping on the floor - If you rent a towel (2 euros + 5 euros caution which you theoretically get back in the end) and need to do your check-out before 9 a.m., don't shower in the morning you're leaving. There's not gonna be anybody at the reception to give your 5 euros back. You can`t surely get to centre on feet - it took almost and hour from us - and we got totaly frozen )))) But it `s not a real problem, really... ))). no laundry, no flatiron. Some other people are very noisy, but then again, it is a hostel and with a bit of luck I'm sure you can get some rest anyways. A lot of disrespectful people who can start to shout and scream in 3 a.m. Or a group of Russians which are packing their stuff in 6 a.m. and creating noise of level as erupting volcano. too many people in a room, so it was very noisy at night because some guys just slept lately maybe at 3 or 4am. It`s a pity that there is no early check. Kitchen was good but was dirty all the time but probably because of dirty guests that don't clean their stuff.. Some weird people around My room was smelly Not exactly a backpackers athmosfere until you find the correct people. Could sombody, please, oil the hinges on the door to room 206? It squeeks as loudly as a siren every time it is opened and closed... facilities were badly maintained. other guests did not bother washing the dishes (felt that the staff can be more strict about this), out of 6 shower heads in the female shower room, at least 2 were spoilt. The girls dorm is very close to the living room so it is a bit noisy during the night. many beds in one number. The common kitchen gets a bit messy because not everyone cleans up after themselves, but that is, to my mind, a minor issue. cheap sleep is far away from the centre!. Bathroom - shower cubicle without door - only curtain - it's not comfort for me. Towels are not included into price (((. kitchen was crowded. Noise in the night and bed near the door. The internet was very bad every time it was cutting off and u have to rewrite user and password . Nothing. no problems. The public space is too huge for people to communicate and the dorms are too crowded and without good air condition. Terrible accident: two pairs of my jeans and shirt are gone in the next morning while I hang them on the upper bed. Guess someone checked out at midnight took them. We couldn't find them back. Just an exceptional case I think. But in 18 bed dorm, keep your things safely. Not so cheap. Cleaning is not done so good.
