Very helpful and pleasant staff, lots of space, facilities and evening shows. Location is close to Sekala which is full of restaurants and shops though its cheaper in Senzo if you are going for some shopping. Allowed us a later checkout by 2 hours for free. It was unusually cold and it snowed in Cairo and they provided a heater. Room service and food was of much better quality than the restaurants and price was only reasonable but a little more for comparable food. We stayed in the apartments a.

The property was very much value for money, and would definitely stay here again!. We have enjoyed in the hotel for 4 days and got a delightful vacation over all. First of all, a nice furnished studio with one bedroom, american style kitchen includes all equipments you need, a huge window-balcony with nice garden/pool view. Sauna, Jacuzzi, Gym are free to use. Friendly staff was helpful. Perfect Location and while staying for less in the Spacious Appartments ,, I enjoyed all the facilities and entertainment at the beach and main swimming pool which is on the opposite side of the road and there is a hotel bridge that takes you right to the beach without having to cross the road . Stay here quite often, but for the first time we tried the Italian Restaurant. What a find. The staff are wonderful, professional and attentive. The food awesome and the atmosphere stunning. Our room wasn't available in the apartments, so they upgraded us free to the main hotel. We got a great sea view room, and the house keeping were very inventive with the towels!. Friendly staff, helpful. Good facilities for sports. It had great tennis courts and sqash court, sauna and nice gym. Food was quite good as well, no complaints at all. The location is really special, it's really close to the city center and actually a walking distance from buddha bar and Calypso. Only found the submarine operator operating in the hotel. Not a real problem. Maybe a microwave?. The pool was not heated. As the weather was quite cold, the pool was used only after the sauna. 22% extra cost due to tax. Although it was very clean, quite old style bathroom with shower in the bath. It has been kept reasonably up to date/modern but it was built around the 80s. Its not what I would call a true marriott but that was reflected in the discounted price. i think the beach is small comparing to hotel capacity so if its fully booked the beach will be so crowded although the beach is very clean and nice its just the matter of size. beds were not comfortable, very hard. furniture needs updating. more equipment in the kitchen - toaster microwave?. No animation team at all, the beach is really small and the pools were like tiny. I wouldn't recommend it for groups more suitable for couples. Swimming pool must be more clean. 1-reception staff are not competent , we expect more professionals for marriott name 2-bathrooms/toilets require urgent renewing 3-I got full board package ,I surprised when i know if I ask for any kind of drinks (when you are getting your meal )even water i have to pay for it as drinks are not including in full board package 4-food varities and quality require improvement. the way to the apartments especially (building 800) was very hard. rooms are not exactly the same as in website. i did have enough time to enjoy the hotel. The Suites and Apartments are across the road from the main hotel. Although it was spacious, comfortable and value for money, we asked to be moved to the main hotel which was much more convenient. The apartment doesn't have a microwave!!! That was really negative The master bedroom doesn't have its own bathroom so the apartment of 4 share the same bathroom :s The safari team the hotel deals with wasn't professional, driving hastily and not caring what we think. nothing much. The beach although it looked really nice and the island is amazing but it also felt kind of boring and dull. On my way to the hotel, I called the reservation department to confirm everything but they weren't nice enough in the conversation! except that, the other hotel stuff were more than great. Nothing. after check-out i'd to wait at the lobby for around 45min until i got my bag - even i've called the reception already before i left the apartment and even after noticing that i'd an important appointment. The only bad thing about the apartment is the distance you have to walk from the apartment to the hotel for the beach and the restaurant, it was ok for me, but its hard for elder ppl to walk. Nothing to mention. Location is not the best. On the reservation of the studio they said we would have two separate beds, but when we made our check-in they told us that all studio rooms have only one king size bed. So, one of us had to sleep on the couch (that transforms into a bigger bed). More effort should be done in housekeeping, it seemed like they don't clean the apartment's floor daily. A carpet should have been provided. Bottled water was provided the first 2 days only on our stay although we stayed for 4 days. The animation team, especially those dealing with kids i.e. the kids club, should be more friendly and engaging to children. Nothing. pool, parking. No all inclusive deals. bad internet service.
