Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. I borrowed a free bicycle from the concierge to drive the city - a great way to explore the area. You could open the windows fully - what a relief, compared to most other business hotels. The food was excellent (a bit expensive, but excellent) and staff were excellent/friendly. Within walking distance to train station, to catch a train to Herning, which is a bit livelier. People all speak English and were friendly. -

Art work is really to be enjoyed. Do look at the sculpture at the front at night. Do take note of the work in the dining room. We were cycling and they had covered overnight bike storage near the entrance. We enjoyed our meal which is a set menu and if you turn up before 5 there are drinks and snacks which was great after a cycle. -

We booked a standard double room and it was very large with tall windows for ventilation, a high ceiling. The bathroom was at first glance very clean until I got in the shower and found mold on the grout between the tile. The shower was small & had a shower curtain the clung to your body :( (not very pleasant).
