  This is a newer, modern and very busy place with lots of activities for the younger children. Our standard room was a bit tide for parents and 16-year old with 2 suitcases but comfortable for sleeping. Air-conditioning proved welcomed as it was very hot. About 10 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens and additional 5 min to old town. Breakfast (include... what people say » d in our rate) was excellent with plenty of choices. Parking was a bit expensive but I understand it's standard for Copenhagen. - Super sky bar with swing seats so you can take in the view across the river -the children absolutely loved that. The restaurant up there is a Sushi restaurant which was great and we enjoyed some grown up cocktails too!

  Very nice hotel and in a great location right on the water and next to a big new shopping mall that had a Cinemax. Also very close to the train station. Nice hotel staff and good customer service. - This is the first Hotel in Copenhagen that gives you value for money! I have stayed at som 20 different Hotels and all are outrageus low value.

  This is a beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. Hotel staff are friendly and kind. The beds are so comfortable and I loved the Geismars duvet. - The style and ambience was superb. Staff obviously enjoy working there which is very unusual ! Food fantastic! Would recommend to everyone!

  Very modern. Good to know that you don't have to queue for check in and check out. There is no reception, they send you the entry code 48 hours before checking in. I stayed for 5 days amd I did not had any problems so I can't really comment how does the hotel responds to problems. Location is ok, it's just walking distance from the main train sta... what people say » tion but also is located at the red district. Saying that I felt very safe walking around it in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel - You know what you'll get with Omena. Standard setup but various size and location of rooms. some are small with thin walls in an older part of the hotel and some are spacious and more privat. but all of them have the same items. They are all clean and with the basic necessity for a short stay. Excellent location, good beds, internet connection, microwave, water heater and instant coffe :)

  everything - Axel Hotel Guldsmeden is just like a hotel should be: comfortable, cosy, based on a set of values which are clear, based on an eco-friendly way of living, good food, clean etc etc etc. Very good hotel. - We stayed in a Superior Double room, and it was lovely - really comfortable, nicely finished.   Very nice hotel, Staff are so friendly, helpful and smiling, the location can't get better, Tivoli is the best place to stay at especially that the longest pedestrian shopping area in Europe "Strøget" is only number of steps away from the hotel. the room is nice the design is cool as well regardless that the hotel is very old. still the experience... what people say » was amazing - Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has excellent selection of food for all palettes. Evening menu very good and great value for money. Room spacious, clean with a large bathroom. Will return and certainly recommend to others.
