This is the very nice hotel. There are so kind staff, a breakfest is not bad, a big pretty room, everyday cleaning, etc. Important for turists it is a very good place. The many touristic objects are right there, just 5-10 minutes by walk. We exactly will be stay in this hotel in next trip to Praha! But seniors, and disabilities persons must know that no elevator in the hotel. It can be difficult for them to climb steep stairs.
all reviews » The location is great, in the heart of the city but not in the crazy heart. You go up there is the castle you go down there is the Charl's bridge. On the way amazing restaurants very cheap and delicious. The beds are comfortable, bathroom is good. Close to the park where you can have picnic with the view to the city. Staff is very friendly. The location and price of this hotel was perfect for us. We have been to Prague many times and like this area. Breakfast was good. The room was warm and spacious. We would definitely stay here again. Access to Prague Castle and St. Nicholas. It's literally 5 minutes walk away. It was also really convenient for getting to Old Town. I stayed in Nerudova street during my previous visit as well. If you have no problem walking up the steep street everyday it is a sweet spot. Location. Perhaps attention could be paid to the bed linen? Having a bottom sheet that fully covers the mattress would be good and a double duvet instead of two singles?. The bedsheets did not fit the beds and so ended up in a roll by morning. They were also worn through and torn. The shelf (for bags) in the closet was broken and unusable. There was not enough storage space. There is not always someone working at the hotel. They lock the doors at night, so make sure that you don't lose your keys!. The cable tv has three cannel only (bbc and two other in Frech and German). And it does not have a computer to use internet. Breakfast. Couldn't set the optimal water temperature in the bathroom. 1. The shower drain was blocked. 2. The breakfast was not really good. Horrible coffee, old bread, cheap and low quality treats and not much variety. 3. The street was more noisy than expected. So you either endure the noise over night or get a room without view. We couldn't turn off the heating in our room, so it was very hot in there. Parking was 10 min. By car, which we couldn't even found and it was not easy to stop in front of the hotel for check-in, because the street was full of tourists going to the castle. The hotel should properly described this condition in the description of the hotel/parking.
