Everything was perfect. The room was soundproofed, large and comfortable, very good courtesy kit, friendly and helpful staff, central location. Nothing to add, really a beautiful hotel but on the other hand you pay for it! - - - Tutto perfetto, stanza insonorizzata, ampia e confortevole, kit di cortesia molto validi, staff cordiale e disponibile, posizione centrale. all reviews » You hotel was modern and luxurious. The bathrooms were spacious and I was able to control the thermostat which was great. The hotel was located in a lively part of Brno close to the castle. I just love this hotel. Excellent location, beautiful building, spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. I will always stay in this hotel whenever I go to Brno. Even the outlook of the hotel is just old, but its inside is renewed to modern style. Location is just the center to access easily to the market. - Great location and design of the hotel. - Friendly and helpful front desk. - Spacious suites with beautiful original features. The interior of the hotel and the rooms are very impressive. Room service was fast and the meal at the restaurant was great. Very nice hotel, spacious rooms, good bed. Everything. We found the location very good (The castle and park and the pedestrians area of the city center are very close). However, it is a bit noisy, since the windows face the street. When we made our complaint, the reaction of the management was immediate and all our requests were attended to with care and solved straight away. The rooms are very clean, and the bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub which we found an excellent idea. The taxi station is just opposite the hotel which is very pract. Nothing. Gym is very small and barely have any equipmentj, which are badly maintained. I think the hotel have enough space to build a better one somewhere else in the building. Also, It is not clear what the spa offers. - Room 107 is very noisy as there is bus stop outside the hotel and runs 24 hours. (106 & 108 may also be very noisy) Recommend an upper floor room. - Buffet breakfast could have been better with fresh juice and staff clearing cups and plates. The hotel advertises a gym and spa. However, 3 exercise machines and a set of weights can not be described as a gym. The spa was confusing as most things did not work and there was no hot tub/jacuzzi. This definitely is misleading. No coffee/tea possibilities in the room. Car is parked in the streets next to the hotel, no garage. Kitchen staff could have been more flexible when an early breakfast was requested. parking is a bit pricy. and the bar should stay open longer than midnight. but considering what value you get in this hotel, it is more a remark than a complaint. Nothing. Breakfast seemed expensive. We ate elsewhere. Missing toilett brush :-). Interior design was not my cup of tea. The building and rooms has better potencial I guess. The bed was much too firm. Nothing. Parking is too expensive. The gym is tiny. Gym only had a few items of equipment and one of those was not working properly. The minibar not refilled, the maids who take towels but don't bring new ones. Nothing. Design of the loby and restaurant. Broken shover. We liked everything. We found the staff at the reception not very friendly, especially when we were checking in. The recreation area in the hotel called 'Spa' is rather far fetched. It is just a sauna, some fancy showers and only three pieces of training equipment. Moreover the relaxing chairs in the Spa are not comfortable (this area in the whole does not have a relaxing atmosphere) and some were broken!! Some of our requests were not attended to immediately and it took a complaint to get things going. Not welcoming.
