  Loved that it was not right in the city center but very close. Walkable distance so we took advantage of that. Very close to the metro stations as well when didnt feel like walking. Good restaurants and pubs around that are not filled with tourists. We were the only tourists in most pubs and great Czech food unless meat and bread aren't your thing... what people say » .   I loved the way the staff were friendly, informative and easy going at the same time. I loved our shared bathroom on 3rd floor on the right, it's better than mine at home. Last not least, the building itself is a true masterpiece from xvii Century, a unesco heritage. Those walls, cellings! For minimal price, too ;) - Great Staff and Location, the Rooms are very nice and clean and have good heating. The breakfast is absolutely fine for the money you pay.   I had a good time staying in this hostel. I always choose for female room. And though the room was full at that time, it wasn't noisy or sloppy at all. So was the kitchen. 1. The location is along the river, near the Charles Bridge and the Castle. You can take tram which only needs 2 stops from the near tram station (near the Dancing Building). 2.... what people say » I booked 1 single bed in 6-Bed Female Dormitory Room. It was full, but the room is big. It's 1 room but they divide it into 2 small rooms, which sepa - The receptionist was GREAT. Very friendly and helped me with any questions I had about the city, including where to shop, how to use the Metro, etc. The location is also incredible for the price - right in Prague's old town by the river. When I show people photos from the hostel room they cannot believe the price I paid for it. It is also convenient for first-time travelers as it is easy to find, especially after a few drinks.
