The house is located just a few km from the entrance 2 of the National park, which is the better entrance because there are a lot less tourists and you can enjoy the park much better. Dragan, the marketing man of Javorina is a good photographer and he can tell you which path to take. We stayed in the park for 2 days and went rafting on the third day. The rafting is on the Una river on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina and after the adventure we went eat and see the spring of the river. If .
all reviews » Beautiful area! The hotel is on a large piece of land which you can use to relax. The rooms are small, but functional - one larger room available on the top floor is ideal. Very friendly staff who are more then willing to help with all of your questions. The host was wonderful and informative. Brought extra heater and warm blankets for guests who were not used to the cold. Breakfast was served by fireplace, very cozy in the cooler climate. Clean and spacious room. Close proximity to Plitvice Lakes. Really nice staff, especially the manager. We had interesting discussions over a fresh homemade and delicous juice. Nice breakfast with the fireplace. Cosy room with a balcony. Satellite tv Clean and 2 fridges for the guests. Nice grounds. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. It felt like we were staying at their home. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and for navigating the park. They were very accommodating to our family and our two dogs. At a very peaceful and relaxing location, the house is in walking distance (20 to 30 minutes) from entrance 2 of the national park. It's a nice walk through the forest. Weak signal in the room. Breakfast only until 9am. You need a car. You cannot get any food or drinks, except in the restaurant nearby, so you'll have to make sure you'll bring your own. There is refrigerator. As backpackers with no car, we had to walk 30 minutes to the park. It's better to stay here if you have a car. There is not much to do/see around the area so make sure this is only a quick stopping point for your Plitvice Lakes visit!. The only problem was with the location (not with the house at all) - there's only one restaurant within walking distance and it's terrible. It's a pizza joint in a ski lodge but it's the worst service we've ever had. If you have a car just drive a few km down the road and there are more options. Unfortunatelly Javorina house is on the busy road. Our windown were towards the road and we could not sleep at all. TV had no english chanells and their sheets need to be replaced to smooth cotten sheets. These they use are very scrachy is you have sunburn. location was a little bit far from enterance but it's ok if host offer free taxi service. The small room we occupied was extremely hot. Most of our journey had been made without a/c but for some reason, possibly due to the size, it was much warmer than others. Don't accept credit cards. The breakfast could be better. No air conditioning. - The breakfast was poor - The welcome of the blonde lady was coldly. The reason is that she doesn't speak at all. - Is a little bit far from the entrance number two of the park (at least 20 minutes by walk in a traffic road). You need to move with your own car. Towels were small and not even bath size. Sheets low quality, no tea or coffee making in the room. Room on the small size. The room . Too small and lack of basic furniture and facilities. relatively expensive for the offer. The house owner is not nice and friendly. He took our passports and check for long time. When we check out, there is a wrong calculation for the changes of money. no bath towels provided, only hand-towels, breakfast was very poor, wardrobe had no hanging space at all.
