we were 2 young couples that traveled together and stayed at 2 rooms at the guest house. the guest house is very close to Plitvice park (20 minutes walk). the rooms were not so big but nice. the owner of the guest house was very friendly and offered us to leace our car at her parking instead of paying for parking at Plitvice parking lot. Welcoming hosts, very helpful, dropped us to the park entrance and picked us up Very comfortable bed in modern room Short walk to the house, down road that's opposite to the entry to Mukinja village Sunny room Close to mini-supermarket and restaurant Fast Internet and English comedy channels on TV.
all reviews » The room was clean and the access to the Internet was great. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They suggested to go to Plitvice Lakes National Park on foot. In my opinion it is the best way to get there from Jezerce village. I would definitely stay in Rada Guest House once more. Beautiful countryside, house covered in flowers, polite staff, nice room, everything new and clean, restaurant within a walking distance, TV with great variety of programmes (in case anyone has time for TV), big double bed, although a bit too hard for my taste. It was a pleasure being there. Perfect hotel to stay in for the price we've paid. Rada is a very sweet lady and she is very helpful with everything. Although her english is not the best, she is still trying to help out. We had breakfast for 5 euro pp extra and this was good. The room was very nice! The beds were very comfortable. The TV in the room had english channels! No interference even though we were pretty far from any nearby city. Cleanliness of rooms. Confortable beds. Nice toilets. Table in rooms prepared for having meals. Good location to Plitvice lakes. The staff, very familiar and kind. Jezerce is close enough to the Plitvice Lakes and still far enough to get away from the crowds. People at the guesthouse are incredibly helpful and welcoming. She's got a beautiful, fat cat!. there is a problem of supplying hot water for a lot of people. A bit cold, but has a fire in the main living area. Maybe needs a heater in the room for the cooler nights. It was overpriced; Bad Internet connection. I've read it is difficult to find and we also were driving past it 2 times. You have to go inside at the number 18. You have to go a littlebit up to see the house. Would have been perfect if there was a common kitchen. Since there was only one restaurant about 5 mins walk away, staying there would mean visiting the same restaurant every night. No doubt it was a good restaurant, but it would have given us more options for eating if we could use a common kitchen. Not a very big issue though, since most people stay at the Plitvice Lakes for a maximum of 2 nights. Too much remote controls. Couldn't turn on the tv. They could do a short procedure. The place is 1,5-2 km away from the lakesand you can walk through another village and reach the park. It was no problem for us, but others might prefer somewhere closer. Some problems with hot water in the morning. Only 1 restaurant in walking distance. Only one fastfood in whole location .. no restaurant. There was only white bread at the breakfast. I would have appreciated a darker/brown bread. Very small shover cabin. When we realised that we will be late to check in on time, we informed the lady by phone. At that moment she said ok, but tomorrow morning she asked us to leave the apartment earlier because she was in hurry due to her private issues. Also she mentioned that she did a favour to us last night by letting us to check in later.
