Well, what a find! We arrived on the early catamaran about 7am and sure enough Kristina was there to greet us. What a lovely, friendly and helpful host! She gave us a quick tour and pointed out the main things and then took us to the apartment. Even though there was a number of stairs it is totally worth it! As we arrived way before check-in time; we were able to leave our bags in the apartment until later. The room was clean, spacious and the view from the balcony was beautiful overlooking the.
all reviews » This was the highlight of our Croatian holiday. Kristina came to meet us at the ferry dock and was full of advice and tips for our stay. There was a cold beer and bottle of water waiting for us in the apartment, what a nice touch! The apartment was very nice with the best equipped kitchen of our stay, and a nice powerful shower. There was a lovely little terrace with table and chairs where we sat in the evenings, also a drying rack for our beach towels and swimsuits. It was no problem to leave . The owner was extremely friendly! She welcomed us and helped us although we arrived much earlier than check in time. She also offered to organize excursions and dining, giving suggestions to where to go and what to visit. We appreciated it since it's hard to find such nice people. The room was very spacious and clean in a house placed in the historic centre of Hvar. Perfect accomodation for young people looking for a good compromise between price and quality. Very good location close to the main square. Owner was very friendly she met us off the catamaran with umbrellas as it was raining heavily. The terrace overlooking the town was lovely, we had our breakfast there it also had a roof on it so you could still sit on it if it rained. We stayed in the studio apartment which was roomy and very comfortable. Very good value and we had a very enjoyable two night stay there. We loved the big balcony with terrific city view, and the excellent location a short walk up the hill from the main square. Although I would recommend updated bedding and the hot water didn't last for two showers, we received wonderful help booking excursions and renting boats/scooters and had a truly lovely time here during our stay in Hvar. Had a great time here. Spacious room and a great location in Hvar. Kristina was lovely. She held our luggage for free all day on our last day there whilst we waited on ferry. She also let us use the kitchen area and toilet which was great. Would recommend it and would stay here again. Very nice and spacious room in quiet area very close to town centre, with air-con, wi-fi, blackout blinds, tv. Kristina also left a bottle of ice-cold water in the room fridge which was welcome. A terrace as well as kitchen facilities ate available just outside the room. Kristina was an amazing host. She helped us with everything we needed and provided recommendations to some very good restaurants and beaches. Even picked us up from the port which meant find the apartment was really easy. We found Kristina, and her mother, to be extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and generous. The appatment was well located to explore the town and the bacony gave us a great view and was good to relax on with a drink. One small thing; the fridge in the room, although it was really great to have it in there, it was quite loud during the night - the fan or something would run noisly on and off.. Nothing at all!. Well ... too many stairs to reach the house so just don't bring too many baggages. There are lots of stairs to get to the apartment it was fine for us a good workout but anyone with walking difficulties would struggle. The air-con was a little noisy at times and the shower head holder was loose so couldn't position shower in best position. If you have heavy suitcases, prepare for some exercise. This probably goes for most appartments in Hvar. No car/handicap accessibility. Steps would have been difficult if not fit. Quite a climb. There was no WiFi or Satellite tv which were in the letsbookhotel.com prospectus, this was not a big problem. There were no arrangements for leaving the key or handing over payment at the end of the stay as the agent had gone to Slovenia. It was not acceptable to leave the money and key in the unlocked building and so the card payment via letsbookhotel.com is relied upon.
