I had booked a room with no windows at 50% discount. The windows were, but the overlook the patio with artificial lighting. To relax and sleeping well for this price!

  The location is fantastic (I lived in shanghai before and it is for me the best district in terms of charms, local designers' shops and underground bars) And it is very central. Great value for money and I will definit - this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.

  I was looking for a hotel with historical character, reasonable prices and a convenient location. Marvel provided all of these. The building certainly has a special historical charm, but the rooms are functionally modern. To my pleasure, there was very little traffic noise, despite being on a very busy street.   Room standard was very good - It was such good value to stay here, convenient location, a lot of shopping places around etc. The room itself was good, though we had problem with airconditioner, that was fixed immediately by hotel, just a bit pity that kitchen equiped with not enough tablewares, that was uncomfortable to use it.
