  Although only a km or so from the Qingdao seaside. There are 3 hotel buildings set in park like grounds. It feels a lot further from the Qingdao hustle than the actual distance. It was quite an easy walk down to No.1 beach then keep heading past No. 2 beach. Very beautiful walk which gets more interesting the further you go.   The first night we stayed in a room that was extremely hot because there was no window and the A/C or fan did not work. The room would not cool off and it felt very stuffy. The next day when we mentioned it, the assistant manager, Maggie, very kindly changed our room. She was wonderful and very helpful;an excellent employee. The hotel is lucky to have them as - Beautiful hotel overlooking a rocky area of the seaside. Watch the continual procession of people scouring the rocks for any shell from dawn to after midnight. Rooms are soundproof from the traffic. Large and bright. By night can follow the boardwalk. Half hour walk to no.1 bathing beach. Restaurants, breakfast, coffee, all nice.
