  The staff were very helpful and very eager to help. They also spoke good English. The hostel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Free food was provided for 2 nights that I stopped there which is also a bonus. It was quite well located to a metro station which was about a 5-10 minute walk away. - Excellent hotel with friendly stuff that speak good Engl... what people say » ish. They are very helpful. Provide you all the necessary information, organize the tours to the Great Wall and Tibet in advance.

  very good value for money, nice place and great people! - It is a family-run guest house, not too big , not too small, just right size. Staying there for several nights, the feeling are really nice. The staff, owner Bobby and his girls, are very very helpfull and friendly. They treat us just like real friends.   I absolutely loved this hotel. All the staff made me feel so welcome.They made me feel like family. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is about a 4 minute walk from the Drum and Bell Tower. Ho Hai Park and Behai Park are also pretty close by. It is situated in surrounded by restaurants, hutongs and lots of sights! Period. Theservice was amazing, the ammenities were phenomenal, there is absolutelynothing we could have wanted that we didn't already have during ourstay.   Extremely friendly and helpful staff, having a 24h reception is very convenient for late check-ins and early check-outs. Location is within walking distance to Dong Si train station, which is just stops away from key attractions such as Tian An Men, Forbidden Palace, WangFuJing street etc. I would highly recommend a visit to NanLuoGuXiang - a beau... what people say » tiful place with lots to see, eat and buy. By the way, the hostel serves a good cup of Mocha! Overall, Happy Dragon Hostel is value for money for budg - Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out. The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.
