Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel itself very clean. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was very good, many options. Location was very good. Close to all main places like Dongcheng district and Sanlitun. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were very nice and put to great use after walking the whole day in Beijing. -

I am a true fan of the Opposite House. I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar. The courtyard style hotel was lovely with lots of traditional features. We stayed in November so it was too cold sit in the courtyard but instead w had drinks in front of a log fire. The staff in the reception speaks english very well, the attitude is so friendly and explain the city very well including a city map with clearly indications.
They give us a present for our anniversary, a cake and a letter. The room was perfect with very nice details and well decorated. The situation is very near the city centre and the external áreas of the hotel are very comfortable, nice and well design.

Quite good location, about 15 min from the main shoppin street, 30 min to the Forbidden City, a lot of restaurants nearby. A sauna and a pool are open till 23.00, which is very useful and pleasant, as well as an iron and an ironboard in the room. The room is quite large, WIFI connection is good, which is not always in China. -

Family room was fantastic, (5 adults) large and comfy beds with a large lounge area. Staff very attentive (particularly Raoul) in catering to needs and providing helpful suggestions for trips. Close to wangfujing street with lots of shopping and less than 5 mins walk to metro. Decor of hotel very grand with beautiful staircases and impressive entrance! Would definitely recommend this hotel (and whole family would too!)
