  Very nice hostel!!! Good english-speaking stuff, nice cozy room(we took room with 2 floors), hostel in a pedestrian area, in the most beautiful area in the town. Close to the lake and main train station(we came by walk). In the Smile cafe which in the next door from hostel all the guests have 20% discount. Really, strongly recommend! - Très bonne... what people say » localisation, personnel accueillant et parlant anglais. Very pleasant place to stay in Hangzhou. Good location, near the lake and He Fang street. Staff very friendly and speak English! Perfect place for globetrotter ;)

  We had a double room on the 2nd floor. No elevator, so you have to drag your luggage up. There is construction work going on (maybe the whole year of 2013) but we were on the other side of the building. The room is a bit small and the bathroom is part of the room (glass door for the shower). The reception is staffed by a variety of young people.   The location is very good! It is located right inside the old village which is another tourist hotspot and a lot of good, traditional Hangzhou food with varying price range around. The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. It is around 15 mins walk to Xi Hu. I will definitely stay here again if I go Hangzhou again! No problem shopping for local souvenirs and eating local food. McDonalds is less than 100m away. Very near to bus stops.
