  Extremely friendly and helpful staff, having a 24h reception is very convenient for late check-ins and early check-outs. Location is within walking distance to Dong Si train station, which is just stops away from key attractions such as Tian An Men, Forbidden Palace, WangFuJing street etc. I would highly recommend a visit to NanLuoGuXiang - a beau... what people say » tiful place with lots to see, eat and buy. By the way, the hostel serves a good cup of Mocha! Overall, Happy Dragon Hostel is value for money for budg - Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out. The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

  This was the best place we stayed in china! The staff were great! We swapped emails and I will defiantly be retuning just to stay here and see my new friend! The staff would help with anything you needed, great advice, helped book tours, great english. One night they even cook my and my parents dinner :d loved it! They were tremendously helpful to us and very friendly and caring. It was very close to the main attractions of Beijing but in a very quiet area. We felt very safe.

  I love the bar/resto and the rooftop! A nice place to hang out at night or when we just want to rest for a while. I like the location because its still in the middle of city but it's not as crowded or as noisy as other city centers. It's also very close to metro station. All in all, it's perfect place to stay!   Nice room, powerfull air conditioning. very big t.v., very comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful and was very willing to help us wih every need. - Warm welcome from staff very friendly but they had problem to allocate the room and the first nite was not psent in the hotel due to poor booking control of other guests extended stay.
