Capital International Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Decorated with classic Chinese furnishings, each guestroom is fitted with a flat-screen cable TV, a desk and a bed with mosquito net. The attached bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. Guests can organise day trips at tour desk, or rent a bicycle to explore the interesting hutongs. I really liked this place. I have stayed in nasty hotels in China but this one was very nice. For the price I didn't know what to expect but the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Warm clean bed, warm shower, clean bathroom, tv in the room and free wifi. What more do you need?! It is a real Chinese hotel in a suburb which gives you a great feel of what the Chinese live like. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest underground.

Good location only a few hundred yards from the metro system.Also the taxi drivers knew the area which from my previous experience with Beijing taxis is a definite plus - these guys obviously don't have to sit a knowledge test. The location of the Classic Courtyard near the Lama Temple subway stop allowed easy access to all parts of Beijing. The facilities were simple, but clean and comfortable. It was nice as a family with two young children to all sleep in the same room. Good value for the price. Great atmosphere in Hutong area and close to subway. Just next to Lama Temple. Very friendly staff, good English. Will stay here again or similar place if ever again in Beijing. Number of choices for the included breakfast, and even cheap beer. Location and friendly personel as well as service is very good. Toilet flushing may be improved. WiFi worked with some problems and only on the ground floor, but generally worked. no window in the room, a lot of noise gets in accomodations on the first floor (I had a Deluxe Single Room). Pretty hard to find at the first time so you'd better take a scheme with hotel location with you. There was a lot of mold. And it was often noisy outside my room. Rather expensive-38 dollars per night. Repair works were ongoing during my stay. Thin doors in rooms. Rooms werent very large, but also the price was good for it. the male personnel treated us extremely cold. haven't been told the 15% hidden service fee util arrived. The staffer was very rude to me, insisting that I looked like a girl because of my haircut. The bed was a very thin foam on top of a raised floor; there was no mattress nor springs so it was very uncomfortable. The rooms are not as depicted on the site, expect a lot less. For only a few pounds more can have a real hotel.
