The accommodations were incredibly luxurious, and well-located near the Eaton Centre. The staff member who greeted us on our first day (George) was extremely courteous. I particularly liked the bath salt and tea pairings.

The building was locked when we arrived, and the entry was rather difficult to find. The hotel is located in a women's club, and my male spouse got a few strange looks when we were using the facilities. The staff member who was on duty on our last day also treated us rather brusquely.

I treated myself to a mini staycation to a spa treatment at the Sweetgrass Spa (just next to Ivy) and had a wonderful refreshing body treatment. Then checked in the Ivy for a comfy quiet stay. It's wonderful to the mind and soul. The room was perfect, the bed was super comfy. Will definitely go back for another treat.

My stay was perfect in every way. D was an engaging and thoughtful host, breakfast was delicious, and the Hastens bed is, in all seriousness, worth every penny. Please keep doing what you do; provided someone else is paying my way, I'll never stay anywhere else.

Toronto's best kept secret! Small, personal, luxurious, part of a lovely spa and gourmet restaurant. Every detail taken care of. Although staying for a romantic evening, it's ideal for a business stay. Great location. Love the old refurbished building....wish Toronto did this more.
