In the Latin Quarter which has a great vibe. Accommodation was comfortable, clean, quiet and hotel has a great aesthetic. The host was wonderfully friendly and helpful. As were the lovely women that clean the rooms. The little additions like free water bottles each day and bedside chocolates just add to the experience. Great value for money. all reviews » The room was absolutely perfect! The rain shower was awesome and the little terrace out onto Saint Denis was exactly what we wanted. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, just a close walk to Saint Catherine for shopping and many restaurants to choose from just out the front door. The man that greeted us at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. He made us know we chose the right hotel before we even saw the room! I've stayed in numerous hotels in Montreal and this is by far my. Everything was fantastic, albert was a gem, one of the main stations was literally across the street, everything was easy to get to and the heater in the bathrooms were my favorite part. Not to mention the extra pillows i was provided with were super flufflyni loved it i would def go again. My friends are actually going to montreal in january and im considering splitting from thw group just to stay here again. We were welcomed in the absolute best way possible- Albert, the hotel owner/host went out of his way to take care of us and made our stay in Montreal so much better. The hotel was very well located, the room was spotless, modern and well decorated. We loved the Nespresso machine in our room and the shower was big and comfortable with a great shower head. All in all a great stay!. The room was lovely, the bathroom was really nice - I liked the shower, soaps and shampoo! - the size of the hotel (not big), and the details, like a Nespresso machine in the room and creamers in the fridge (rather than powdered creamer), plus free bottled water in the fridge. Also the restaurant below the hotel has great breakfasts and sweets!!!. Clean, helpful, close to the Latin Quarter "action." Lots of restaurants and bars in the street outside the door, open air dining and drinking. Below the hotel is a "brioche" restaurant w French cooking. No elevators. Nothing- it was just about perfect. We weren't huge fans of the La Brioche Lyonnais restaurant downstairs but that shouldn't really reflect on the hotel itself!. There really wasn't anything we didn't like. Two things make this hotel difficult for people with disabilities. 1. The stairs. No elevator, so steep flights of stairs to get to your room. 2. Parking. The hotel does not have its own garage, so you have to park in an underground garage a block away. Hard to get to your car to get stuff out. (And our room was smaller than the photo implied). Quite a lot of begging on the streets outside the hotel. Very poor wifi. The signal was weak and the download speed was less than 0.5 MB at all times I checked. No elevator, so would be a little rough if you packed heavily. N/a. Only complaint: the lighting in room was a bit tough for reading. Beds very soft, rooms have little sunlight. The latin quarter has its share of beggars and homeless so they are about in the street of the hotel. No large water glasses, we needed maid service at 3pm and it is only avail in the morning. there was no one at the front reception for the most part. I liked everything about the place and plan to stay there in the future.
