Luxury Hotel I was there four days I love it.the building look's like huge castle it's easy to lost there at first day!!& I like the locution. the mountains view was unforgettable. if you going there don't miss the SPA.. I can rate it as 6 Star Hotel

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire staff treated us exceptionally. They are all professional, respectful, and they treated my daughter like a queen. The hotel itself is amazing and fun to explore, especially in your slippers late at night. I thought the wedding party late at night would be too noisy, but it's fun and entertaining for a little one. Our room was far enough removed as well. The view was a nice one...I'm sure there are better but I can't complain. We didn't plan on going to the pool but thankfully we did. The outdoor pool is so relaxing and warm. Even if you can't swim, don't deny yourself. The Fairmont room is a standard but very comfortable. I didn't get to stay up as late as I wanted because the pillows are the best I have ever slept on. At first I thought they price was way to steep, but quickly realized you get what you pay for. In this case, you get a castle and a++++ treatment. Need to make this a yearly visit.

Staff was attentive and helpful on the gold floor. Nice room decor on my last minute special request for birthday arrangements.

In house restaurants were mediocre at best, and we tried three of them. Rooms could use more sound proofing. No fridge in the room. After a nine hour drive, I arrived at 7:00am to have the front desk tell me my room wasn't ready, because they considered me as a no show....and to think that I booked 1 extra day , so I can check in right away upon arrival, and I called ahead the day before. So I stood there and waited some 30 minutes for them to get that sorted out, with no apology offered.

We liked the location, the wonderful history of the hotel, and the generally excellent service.

One evening we suffered from a loud, drunken party in one of the hotel's restaurants. Despite complaints from other diners, management took no action.

It's a grand old hotel although the architecture is austere Scottish baronial at its worst

Having to pay for wi-fi. That is not on in an hotel of its quality in 2013

The staff was very friendly and upgraded our room for us because we were in our Honeymoon.

This is a very beautiful hotel. We stayed on the gold floor and the rooms were very good. We really enjoyed the luxury and club area.

Some of the staff on the gold floor were great but others made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The alcohol in the club is an extra a charge and when paying $700 a night I thought that this should have been included for the couple of hours during horderves.

Amazing beds and a beautiful resort.

Some staff were horrible and you weren't made to feel special or of any importance. Considering the money you pay you would expect a little bit more especially in terms of service. Rooms are tiny.

Jay was the first person we met there with the valet service provided. He was so friendly and nice and remembered our names each time we met him. He went out of his way to make us feel special and this made our first stay here memorable. Thank you Jay! Because of you, we will probably return. Keep up the great work!

I didn't like the fact that the restaurants were booked until very late evening. We were both very hungry when we arrived and ended up calling room service. Our dinner (which was very good) was delivered within 20 minutes and we enjoyed that as well. So, I guess you could say we had no complaints!

cost! for Euro zone people, room cleaning not to European standards, food in Italian restaurant,no courtesy room for shower before late departures, Banff getting too expensive, mozzies were very bad this year and food standards have slipped!

At the restaurant we had lunch buffet, we already paid tips by cash,after we got message from bank. we had been charged extra 17 CND dollars.

This was a couple of days to enjoy for our 10 anniver.Loved every minute. It is such beautiful location andsuch an magnificant building.

I liked about everything! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room elegant and the bathroom wonderful! The breakfast buffet on the 5th floor was perfect, I enjoyed especially the Bircher muesli and the selection of cold cuts!

The Fairmont Hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly and professional. The restaurants were friendly and very service oriented and made us feel welcomed and appreciated.

The staff was awesome - went out of their way to assist - room was spotless Surprise stay for my adult children .... Expensive yes , but well worth every penny !! The location of Banff Fairmont - breathtaking !

Was annoyed at pop machines not working on any of the floors. Also didn't like that my $100 dollar coupon from Costco was not accepted because I booked through bookings.com.

For what i payed i thought the room would be bigger and more spacious. I was in Panama and had a room same size, but with a deck, hot tub, and 25 yards from the ocean and payed less than half what I did for the gold suite.

Gold service, size of bathroom, dog howling in next room, power failure for 2 hours, unfortunately we had less than 24 hrs there for $499. Per night. It was the most expensive accommodation by far of our 23 day trip.
