We only booked one night in this hotel and ended up staying for 3 nights due to how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and nice and cool, also the food we had during our stay was very nice. The location was nice and peaceful although close to the main areas. (5 minutes) Tips: the two girls on reception are very sweet and helpful On your way from the airport tell the tuk tuk driver it is just past the university. Overall we re.
all reviews » The staff is amazing. They are friendly and sweet and interested. They are a big plus to our stay, especially Ms. Smile. The hotel is beautiful, the room is spacious and there is a nice big pool area. They even went out of their way to try to find us another room because we didn't like the bathroom and plucked fresh mango for my smoothie :). Staff (genuinely friendly and helpful), location (quiet but close to town), swimming pool (size and access), decent value (compared to places nearby), neighbourhood (more locals than tourists), reliable wifi, free bikes... but overall the extremely helpful staff make this a 4 star hotel, otherwise it's an average accommodation. the personal make you feel at home at the first moment you get there. They are extremely kind and efficient to solve any requierement we had, they help us in everything we need to know about siem reap. The rooms are very confortable and also the swimming pool. I totally recoment this hotel and im sure i would come back. The staff were beyond anything we have yet experienced....brilliant. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location was only a 10 minute walk into the main tourist area, or 2 mins by tuktuk for $1. Except for brekky couldn't fault the place. We will definitely stay there again. The food we had wasn't very good but after they asked if we liked our food and told them we didn't, they took it off the bill and talked to the che. breakfast (poor quality and choice), shower facilities (outdated and low pressure), pool maintenance (was green one day), noise during day (construction all round). Nothing. Breakfast could be improved. Omelette very salty, fried egg very oily, toast... American sweet bread....yuk with vegemite. Fresh fruit was very nice though. A bit difficult to find, now, even for the tuk tuk driver...even if is really close to the center. nothing. None. Daily towel change is not automatic. Restuarant service are very slow. The food was okay but not great, although breakfast omelets were nice. And a local dog stole one of my shoes. Other peoples revues! It's rubbish about the Mosquitos, where in south east Asia there are Mosquitos everywhere!!!. A bit off the beaten track, so a lot of the tuk tuk drivers didn't know how to get there without us guiding them, even when provided with a card that has a map on the back!. Hotel has recently changed its name to Jayavara. No signage outside, tuk tuks don't know the hotel by name.
