this hotel is a MUST when you stay in the Roeselare area. You are in the quiet country side with easy access to all motorways. The room was unique in all aspects. Everything - location, staff, quality of food, peace and quiet, comfort. The owners are wonderful and cannot enough to make your stay the best possible. It was helpful that one of the owners is Scottish so there was no language problem. We'll definitely be returning here. Only one and a half hour's drive from Calais.

Chamdor was close to an event we were attending nearby, and was also handy for the WW1 historical sights towards Ypres. The hotel is behind an area of 'out of town' stores but we found a bar/restaurant a short walk away for a meal and some drinks. Nice to have a double bed, and a good rain-storm style shower too! -
