The location is good as it is in a quiet rural area but close to the motorway. The owners were very welcoming and easy-going. All the food was locally sourced and cooked in-house and was very enjoyable. The building has been very carefully designed by the architect/owner. -

Extremely efficient - we arrived late on a Sunday and everything was laid out at reception ready for us - just pick up the key and go to the room!!!! Marvellous. The Hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area, just puuuurrrfect. Be concious that this is not a 5 star hotel, it is quite basic but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. -

The staff were exceptionally knowledgable, pleased to help with grace and delight. The hotel is an obviously interesting old building which had been wonderfully kept, clean comfortable and cool in the heat, the high ceilings were a boon. Breakfast was delicious constant fresh supplies were brought in for me the best- great coffee! We had rooms facing the road and were surprised that there was no noise issue to disturb us. Great value.

It is a lovely clean and friendly place. You can relax and feel really at home, the sad are so welcoming and hard working, nothing is too much bother. Beach is just a 5 min walk and it's not too far from bruge.

The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming.
The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day.
We would definitely stay there again.
Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.
