I like that the place exudes an immediate air of relaxation that lasts from arrival to check-out.
In short: perfect location and view over the river, very high quality service, a beautiful terrace, a delicious 4-course menu and a comfortable room.
Markets itself as three-star but provides a five-star experience - which is why we keep coming back.

Beautifully renovated family run hotel. We stayed when it was quiet but you can tell how wonderful the atmosphere would have been during the main season. Still, we were personally looked after and had the hotel to ourselves. Amazing rooms with a personal touch. Plenty of things to visit in the surrounding areas for the active type. -

Great room, we had the standard room. Very nice, different than other places, nice details, we loved the wooden floors.

The breakfast was the best I have ever had. Champagne is standard in the breakfast. Extremely good value for money. The two people running this are very friendly. The restaurant, in the garden, looked very very nice(but we didn't eat there). Our rooms was very cosy and has a very nice antique feeling (but not too chique), but are maybe a bit dark.

I booked the hotel, but the guest was Mr Charles Daniel. He has agreed these comments, and has nothing but praise for the staff, who were especially helpful, and hotel in general. - all the staff were friendly and most courtious and the service was excelent.
