  We choose to stay in the Marriott because we could have a one bedroom apartment, it is useful to have a kitchen plus a separate living room for when our toddler is in bed. The apartment was great - a good size, clean and quiet. The location was good - right next door to the European Parliament and about a 10-15 min walk to the Grand Place. It was ... what people say » only a 5-10 min taxi ride from the Eurostar station. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was superb - delicious and a wide variety of items. - The suites are spacious, and the beds very comfortable. It was easy to check in and out next door at the Renaissance, staff were very pleasant and efficient. A cab stand was a block away, and often cabs were in front of the Renaissance. The neighborhood was interesting, quiet, unthreatening, and convenient to Brussels attractions.
