Our room was fantastic. till now i still miss my stay there very much! We had a spacious and comfortable studio with personal bathroom and having a kettle, fridge and microwave in the room made everything so much more convenient! a dining table with basic cutleries help us save alot on eating out. They even provide an alarm clock which was helpful especially coz we had time zone difference. location was good as it is easily accessible to the city centre by metro and bus, though there is a 5 min.
all reviews » -Easy and free parking on the street in front of the structure (this is a HUGE advantage in Bruxelles) -Good price (€40/night) -Refrigerator, microwave oven and water boiler in your small apartment, common kitchen for all the guests (this last one not always clean) you can virtually cook all your meals there -There's also a washing machine + dryer in the basement -You are at walking distance from Saint Guidon Metro Station (less than 15 minutes) and the bus stop it's almost in front of the hous. For this modest flat, I was very satisfied. It was spacious and designed!!! I mean the colours were matching, armchair classy, the small bathroom decorated in a cosy way with a loverly cupboard and even the keyholder in shape of a house was rejoicing for someone who is design-sensitive (especially if you do not expect it from a budget flat). I liked the walk to the metro station, lovely surroundings and it keeps you fit. The staff were very efficient and nice!. The room was great, big and bright. Teacups, knifes, plates, etc... everything you need, you can find there. Everything was clean enough and we would definetely come back there. There's a big commercial center nearby, it takes less than 10 minutes of walking to get there. And by car, the city center isn't far eather. Had a great time in Budget flats. Spacious apartment for 6 people, including a one-bed room which was much needed for the driver. We arrived late after a long drive and they kindly text me a front door code and safe code for the apartment door key. A great place for friends to stay on a trip to Brussels, esp if in a car. Excellent value for its price. It has a fully equipped kitchen, also a dining room. The rooms are big, warm and clean. The staff is great; the complex manager was very kind and helpful. 10 points for her! We had a very nice time there. Highly recommended for a group of friends. Great accommodation. There is a shared-kitchen so that you can cooked by yourself if you want to save some money. The limited reception opening hours is quite annoying as we couldn't ask for help when we didn't know how to operate the oven and cooker. though they had many facilities in the kitchen we barely get to use them as there was no one to ask for help. in the middle of the night there was a short circuit and as there were no one in the reception it took quite a while before someone did something about the blackout. -The kitchen could be cleaner and better equipped Keep also in mind that they won't clean your room for a week if you don't explicitly ask and pay for it (this was clear when booking but just a reminder for those that could be more distract). On the outskirts of Brussels, about 15 min drive. Some walls very coarsely plastered and not painted over! Smoke alarm kept beeping (low battery maybe) in middle of night, altho second time we stayed we couldn't hear it. Laundry needs some attention. thin walls; 'neighbours' arrived at 0:30 pm and woke up at 7:00 - started speaking with loud voices, keeping us awake/waking us up. The large amount of noisy Polisch workers, musik until 23:30 hours in the evening verry noisy and loud music !!!. The sign was hard to view from the street. The walls were thin so it was easy to hear neighbors. One of the faucets had no water pressure and the other sprayed water out really hard a made a mess. Middle matress was moulded almost into one position and the setee was a but small for 4 of us oh and maybe a bigger tv other that it was great!. Poor sound-proofing. Not for honeymoon couples!. Most of the equipments such and the kettle and the hair dryer were spoilt. There is a problem for one sprayer and one sewer.but another one can be used. My room was very noisy at night because of its proximity to the road. Beds a bit worn out, lack of bowls. the internet is not convenient. Functional but not very cozy. the road side is noisy. Distance to centre of Brussels. The wifi is not convenient, shall mention the transportation on website, if so, we can go there more easily. The shower had drainage problems, the towels were very used and stained, the room was next to the elevator and it was quite disturbing and noisy. at night from the front room a dog was barking. the house is near the road so it could be a little bit noisy. Very basic, and if you want upgrades they are expensive. The "free" internet is only 200mb/day, then you have to pay 5€/1GB. Breakfast, you get cheaper, better and healthier food at supermarket or local store. Prices are too high for the quality of the hotel. Noisy, especially early in the morning. Nothing. A bit dirty and could not get oven to work. poor kitchen facilities. It was cold in the room It is quite clean, but it is obviously quite old and needs reparation. The paid high-speed internet was horrible. I constantly was disconnected. I had to use the free wi-fi. I asked the hotel but they did not refund my money for the internet. The room was really dirty, the floor was so dustt that if tou walked without shoes, you ha all that dust attached. There was a water bottle under the bed...The balcony floor was covered of guano. In all the we there was nobody of the staff, I have never met anybody to complain, there was a number just for emergiencies written in capital letters, just for emergiences, really unfriendly. It's far from the city centre, we bought an internet extension of 1Gb (costs 5€) that didn't work, the flat wasn't clean, there wasn't a kitchnet, only some kitchen materials inside de room. Toilets, Noice, Windows, No internet. Location is too much far away from city center. Nearest metro station is 1,2 km. There are no any shops, cafes nearby. The building and rooms are old and not so much clean. The plates and towels in the room were dirty of previous guests. too far from metro (take 15 min walk). and it's bit noise cuz poor sound insulation.
