Big room, nicely decorated, very clean. The whole house is very chick, modern urban design. Staff/family that owns the house is super helpful and nice. Mrs served us very good breakfast, with bio products, some of which were home-made by her (super yummy pear and chocolate jam, strawberry jam and bread). Location is 20 minutes away from city centre, by bus, but it's right across the park and it's nice to wake up to that every morning. I especially liked the two different options for pillows, co.
all reviews » B&B Josaphat is a true gem! The room and bathroom were clean, spacious, very nicely decorated and quiet. The minibar was well-stocked with drinks and there even was a coffeemaker (high quality coffee) and water cooker for tea. The hosts are very friendly and did their utmoast to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with home made bread, bio produce of local origin and very tasty coffee. The location is great, right beside Josaphat Park with free parking on the Park-side of the . Everything - welcome by the smart and friendly owners, very smart place, stylishly decorated, very spacious, brilliant breakfast - bio products, brilliant location near my son's university, beautiful house overlooking a park so nice and quiet although in the centre of Brussels. Practically, everything! The room was amazing, including the bathroom, the location easy to reach and with a view on a beautiful park. The owner is a nice and friendly lady, I'll keep this (too short) staying in my memories. Until I'll be back, of course. Highly suggested!. The best place we have stayed in 4 months of traveling. Everything was very good, but I'd like to mention two things, none of them of big impact to our stay: - The house being old had very large windows, and one of them didn't close tight, so there was a little bit of noise and wind coming from outside. - Also, the door to our room was entirely glass (not clear glass), which felt a little strange: to be able to see silhouettes passing by. Not a big problem, though, because the bedroom and bathroom also had doors made of wood. There wasn't a sign up yet. That made it harder to find the B&B in the dark. This will be resolved soon, though. In the mean time it's well worth the extra trouble!. As only rarely happens, I have nothing negative to mention. The price was with €92.00 for a B&B (family room) a bit on the high site for a single person but the other room was €75, which was fair. There was no proper curtain in my bathroom and bedroom did not have a lock... Noise from the traffic in the street.
