This charming little hotel is conveniently situated in the historic centre of Bruges. It is near the Cathedral Saint Salviors, the main museums (Gruuthuse, Groeninge, Memlinc and Old Hospital Saint John), the Market Square and the main shopping streets (Steenstraat). All rooms are ensuite and dispose of a television with cable connection. They are all recently renovated. Each room features a private bathroom and a toilet. Wireless internet access in the rooms is available. The hotel offers an extensive continental breakfast with fresh ingredients.

Good reception and and good breakfast.The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Decor of hotel was fine downstairs but sadly our room wasnt so good. Location was great. lack of elevator or staff assist with baggage. It would have been nice to have access to hot drinks in the evening, even if just a kettle and some sachets made available. The toilet and bath were cabins inside the room, the staircase was toosteep and (in some cases) dangerous, the blankets could be replacedwitth quilts.The breakfast could have been better.However the music and the surroundings were exellent. The decor was a bit dated, but this added to the charm of the place.Thanks to the other reviews on this site we were prepared for the toiletand shower that are built into the bedroom. Apart from that - no problems. Not realey mabe toilet in my room very narrow. the toilet and the shower. The room itself and room facilities was quite old.room really small, en-suite facilities strange and quite fragile, sink and shower _in_ the room. In spite of its French name and bilingual Belgium, the staff didn't want to speak French Could be difficult for French visitors.toilet is too small. Minor gripes - I love my 'cooked' breakfasts, but there was none to be found here, not even any cold meats ! Just several types of sliced bread, bread rolls, and a croissant (with plenty of preserves, if you like that sort of thing). There was however the optional boiled egg !!! Stairs to room were very steep and had extremely narrow 'treads' ! Drinks machine in Dining room didn't work all weekend.The room was to small, and the toiletfacilities were bad. the room was not the best carpet was in need of a good cleaning. We found it strange that the shower and toilet were in the room and not a separate. I thought the room would be a little nicer for 70 euro. They changed us to a cheaper room without telling us until we got there. the stairs were so high, and the bathroom "inside" the room was not comfortable at all, notwithstanding we have a good time there. Rooms are old and not looked after. There is no lift with a lot of stairs. There was no light in our bathroom and when I told the staff I was meet with a very hostile response and nothing was done. We left and went to another hotel. I recomend spending the extra Euros and going somewere else.
