  Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. She interact... what people say » ed with her guests well to ensure they were happy. - Perfect!. Haus Bergwald is simply the perfect hotel in a most beautiful location. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.
