The rooms were bright, clean and great room configuration for feng shui - mirrors could be folded away from main sleeping area - a feature I look forward to in a room. All staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. Bonus there is a mineral spa in the complex. Parking is good and access is exellent. I am extending stay for 1 more week as my husband had an accident and broke his ankle. I was able to choose my room and staff went out of their way for me.
all reviews » This is a lovely place to stay. Our apartment was on the 4th floor with a view to the ocean. It is some distance from the town but that doesn't matter, there is a great walk to the ocean over a swing bridge across the river. We had two nights there and it was most enjoyable. Our apartment was very attractive with a great set-up for the ensuite bathroom. We stayed one night at the Quality Suited Deep Blue, friendly staff greeted us at the desk, check in was quick and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable decorated in modern neutral tones, easy on the eye. it had a nice fresh feel. Would recommend to family and friends. great location, could see the breakwater from the room, but I could understand if you were in any of the other room on our level, there would have been hardly any or no view at all. Room was very clean and as we stayed 2 days it was cleaned when we went out for the day. Absolutely wonderful. Rooms tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Pool divine and bistro food and service was second to none. I am already planning another stay - this time to enjoy your day spa facilities!. Small hotel so more personal and relaxing. Was able to cater for child with allergies Loved the fact that it has a Spa- fantastic service and therapy just amazing! The whole family enjoyed the use of the indoor pool. Very clean and quiet. Only a small point, but I would like the availability of a thinner pillow as the pillows were quiet thick. Breakfast was average for the price. Would prefer a TV in the bedroom. In this day and age wifi should be standard with your room. Having to pay extra for this is an outdated service. In addition to this, $20 for a new release film is a little outrageous. The room was very noisy when there were high winds. We stayed during a storm and the wind kept us awake a lot as the sliding door to the balcony was very noisy. Breakfast was delivered on time. Would be a good idea to note on the menu that the croissants have 3 different fillings, including a nut filling. Heated pool too cold - needs to be heated more as the kids could only stay in for 10mins and then were shivering. No wi-fi in rooms. Nothing. No offer of help when bringing in quite a bit of luggage. breakfast not included. Pool wasn't warm enough for adults, though kids were ok. The dead cockroach / cricket between our bed. It was cleaned up when notified. My breakfast on the Sunday was missed. By the time I got mine the other had gone cold with no facilities to reheat. We had requested a sea view but were on the 2nd floor and could only see the sea by pearing around the edge of the balcony. They did try to change us but were full. The bathroom looks great, but more form than function. Do architects/designers every actually test their designs? Handbasin that is hard to wash hands in, and getting the water to divert from the bath to the shower required a bit of work with a poorly designed diverter. 1. Lack of car park access to hotel with luggage. Nothing, all was good. Only one chair in room. Noisy other guests. No free wifi in room. That we had to leave the next day. No easy way to get your luggage from second floor carpark into the hotel. that we had to check out...... Wifi charges. The lack of knowledge of local transport. eg. The extra buses that were put on running from Pertrobe Road to the Racecourse. The staff couldn't tell me what the timetable was. I actually found out from another establishment. Breakfast was nice but had to wait for things to be replenished, table condiments weren't replenished and had to take cutlery from other tables to use. Booked a twin room, got a double and had to wait while they made a twin room up. No biscuits, just tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Squeeze containers of handwash, shampoo and shower gel - too hard to squeeze. There was a couple of towels and pillows that weren't clean on arrival. Warrnambool itself sleeps Arlin's 9 pm! Not much to do. Wifi is only available in the lobby area. room 423 top drawer needed repair in wardrobe, flickering loungeroom light absent minded breakfast staff. still waiting for my coffee I ordered. Bfast a bit pricy. Unfortunately spa closed over Easter so wasn't able to book a massage. Room with 'ocean view' - only from the balcony. When made the booking it didn't let me know that breakfast was excluded from the price, these days it is common that breakfast is included into the price. Nothing. Would like more utensils in the kitchen. We cooked dinner and it was a challenge. The addition of more bigger glasses and wine glasses,cutlery and a baking dish or two would have changed our review to excellent.
