Everything about my stay here was fantastic. It's a great place for reps travelling, couples and families. Staff fantastic, room was great in the tower (upgraded to this room,thank you) so close to everything including the beautiful lady bay walk. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Not sure why those who have negative feedback did so. I will stay again for sure. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The room was large, comfortable and very well-equipped, and the hotel is situated in a quiet part of the town, near tourist attractions and the sea. It was useful to have a pc for use by guests in the reception area.

Handy to all city amenities, but not exposed to noises from traffic on main roads. Lovely :-). The excellent restaurant facilities and menu offered, plus attentive and helpful staff. Of 4 Motor Inns and serviced apartments used in the last 6 days, this was the best equipped and offered value for money. Free WiFi was a big plus also. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We were upgraded and very much appreciated the extra room, and a working airconditioner which had not been our experience at other hotels in the area. All in all an excellent hotel. Lovely big, bright, clean and comfortable room. Lady checking us in and out at reception was friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect for visiting the Olde Maritime Village and to walk to the bars and restaurants at night. Stayed here for a night while driving the Great Ocean Road. Excellent location; walking distance to nice bars and restaurants (highly recommend Pickled Pig). Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and the location is most attraction and f&b outlets. They even taken the trouble to upgrade our room to a suite. It was really a wonderful surprise. As a mature couple traveling the Great Ocean Road through to Adelaid we were delighted with what this city had to offer. The accommodation was comfy and clean. Staff very helpful. The little touches, like having the lights and heater on arrival. The owner takes the time to ask how well you slept or how was your meal (both excellent by the way). We were running late so they called to make sure we were on our way and had the heater and electric blanket on ready for our arrival. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean & tidy & the walk from the station was not too far & flagstaff village was across the road. The room was a little cramped. A bottle of water cost $3 from the mini bar. Taps in shower. Each time I turned around I knocked the taps and water temp changed, too hot. Shower was a little on the small side and I am not a large person. No shower/conditioner. No toaster or microwave. Couldn't connect to Internet without getting password. not a thing every thing was great. Climbing 3 flights of stairs with my 20kg suitcase (but that's my own fault I guess!). Nothing really. We had the full Buffet Breakfast and I thought the price was a bit much for what we were given, also there were eggshells in our scrambled eggs which didn't make it at all appetizing. We only stayed one night, which wasn't enough!. Nothing noted - one night stay only. The town is not the best location on the Great Ocean Road. Nothing - it was all good. The bed was a little hard with springs pocking in back. Maybe need to update to new soft beds. Room service charge should also not be charged. Nothing, but the weather can put people off !. No breakfast option. nothing. We couldn't think of anything we didn't like about this hotel - it was a very enjoyable stay. Wi-Fi didn't work in our room. not applicable. It would have been nice to have been reminded to add to my flybuy points, as I forgot. Major wi-fi connection problems. Could only obtain/maintain connection by being outside or standing near door ( but it was for free ). No toaster!. not realising there were different room layouts for the defined room eg spa room was down stairs while before it was upstairs with a cathedral ceiling. The buffet breakfast was extremely disappointing. Thankfully, found better options locally. would have been nice to have deck space at the front. They had a function going on just down stairs until mid night keeping us awake. They have apologised and tried to make it up to us.
