The lady that owns and runs this motel was fabulous. She called me on the morning that I was arriving to see if I needed to be picked up from the airport! Everything. Karen was wonderful. We are both gluten and dairy intolerant. She said that was not a problem and provided a fantastic breakfast for us. She directed us to where we wanted to go with attractions,shopping centres. Wish we could have stayed longer the unit was great modern impeccably clean . Everything you could want. Thank you.

Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! Great accommodation and close to GC airport. Stopped over night with my mum who's in her 70's and we were flying out next early morning. This was my second time in the last few weeks staying at Golden Shores and like the first stay it did not disappoint. It's proximity to everything(beach, airport & some good restaurants) is excellent as well as spotless comfortable rooms. It is all that you need for a short, well priced stay.
