  The staff were extremely friendly and happy to give me a room with a city view after already allocating our room. The view was magical and the location was central. It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from my own bed and the facilities were beautiful....perfect for my romantic getaway... - The reception staff upon arrival were exce... what people say » llent. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. The complimentary drinks at the Metropole were a great idea and we would definitely stay there again. We also liked that the rooms were couple off so that anyone entering the room had to get through two doors.

  We booked 2 apartments for our family, young adlts in one apartment and adults with small children in the other. We were placed next door to each other which made it fantastically easy to go from one to the other. Both apartments were great, if we viit Townsville again we'll definitely stay there again. o eay to walk to the beach, to the shops, to... what people say » the supermarket and even easier to the private pool which was quiet and simply perfect. - Checking in late and not having to pay till the morning was a Godsend, especially with small children. Being so close to the Strand and the water park was the biggest selling point for us. The apartment was very roomy. Free Access to Strand Fitness was excellent

  Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Requested 6 meals, 2 x 3 types,(on a night meals not usually served)... what people say » and was very pleased with service, quality and quantity. Great view from dining area. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. TV needs replacing soon, screen pixelating continually. Reception staff (owners ?) were very helpful with directions.

Hotel was amazing, clean, modern and very big rooms. The accommodation was excellent and being at the end of the corridor our kitchen was another room and sufficiently equipped.   I always like to stay somewhere different and this was a great find. Brand new with a real boutique property feel. Very personalised service, and great modern rooms. I travel to TSV often and the hotels there, while OK are all becoming pretty dated so this was just what the city needed.

  The location was quite good close to the older part of Townsville. Our view from apartment 64 was really quite nice. The overal facilities were good and the apartment was sensibly laid out. Beautiful bathroom, loved the sliding doors in the lounge and bedroom. Really special to open them up in the morning before the day heated up. Price was fair for what we got. - Location, parking availability, room layout. With being allocated a dirty room, we rang reception.. the service was exceptional, a staff member was contacted, a new room was allocated. Shame about the dirty room but that happens...the resolution was organised in an efficient and timely manner..so well done to the staff involved

  It's a new building. We took the one bedroom apat. It was big, comfortable, we could stay there a month. Its actually a flat with a lot of space. When we booked, we booked the studio, but it was so small that we couldn't even put our 2 suitcases in. So we upgraded to the one bedroom, which was like 3 studios combined - Brand new hotel, very nice,... what people say » clean and large apt. with everything. Good value!
