  We loved the location as we were able to catch a tram to the city and walk to South Yarra and Chapel Street. We were also surrounded by wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The staff at The Lyall were so friendly and we felt very welcomed.   I liked the welcome by Renee - she was helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed the breakfast - terrific fresh fruit salad and delicious home made yoghurt and lemon butter. The fresh flowers throughout the hotel was a nice touch. The room was nice and cosy - especially nice when there was a chill in the air. The patience displayed by the managers. Rooms were non smoking but tables, chairs and an ashtray were provided on the balcony that overlooked beautiful roses. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a large spa bath with overhead shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the fluffy towels had a lovely perfume. I would absolutely recommend staying there!!!

  A spacious 2 bedroom apartment that we only paid a 1 bedroom rate for. Modern, clean, well equipped and comfortable. A short walk to the town centre. - Close to town. New and in great condition. Orange tree in back yard with very nice fruit to eat.
