    As an Events Manager I had traveled from nz to organised a ladies night out for a friends birthday at the Sheraton Sydney. As soon as we walked in the doors we were treated like princesses and the service continued till we were spoilt rotten. I was raised up with lavished hotels so I have high and fussy expectations. The bathroom bat - We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. The full breakfast available in the dining room had everything anyone could ask for from hot porridge through to bread and butter pudding with whipped cream.     Having been to Sydney several times staying at different hotels each time (4 or 5 stars),we always break up our stays with two hotels for variety. The Intercontinental on Circular Quay had the most professional,helpful and friendliest staff of all the hotels we've stayed at in Sydney.     Absolutely everything! We were particularly impressed with the staff, who stuck just the right level of assistance -professional, friendly and helpful.The decor is beautiful. The lounge area relaxing and lovely in every way. Our room was absolutely delightful, very generous size, loved the decor, the beds and pillows very comfortable, not a sound ... what people say » disturbing our sleep, our paper was left at our door in a purpose made bag; music came on within minutes of us getting into the indoor swimming pool. - We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk. This is a great location for all of the sights. We requested something for the room and it was immediate.     My husband and I, loved the location , as it was walking distance to cafes, buses , ferry, shops, Sydney harbour, Opera house and trains. We loved the comfy bed and pillows so much we haven't slept as well since arriving home. Nothing was too mu - Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. Quality of food was average but as we only had the mushroom soup other options could have been tastier. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices for a a wide variety of cultures.

    The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The pool/spa was just bliss to use at the end of a tiring day up the mountains! The Harvest restaurant served quality food and had a lovely atmosphere, again with great staff. Whilst the Gazebo restaurant was perfect for breakfast and very well managed.     Location is great. Walk past the restaurant to a terrific beach, good for kids at the south end, surf fishing at the north. Ambience amongst nature is sensational and the layout beautiful. We had a spa room and enjoyed that under the glass ceiling at night very much. Heaps to waste your time with and a sensational child friendly pool complex. The location with access to the beach was a great surprise and we loved sitting in the garden bar with beach views. The whole set up with rainforesty walks to get around made for a really great atmosphere/ambiance. The meal we had on site was excellent. Would definitely go back.
