    be warned if you are expecting the hotel grandeur and modern and packed with guests, this hotel is not what you are looking for. However, the intimate and cozy feeling, plus the fine elegance of the deco all offer a nice and comfortable stay. Great location to circular quay ferry termini and 15-20 min walk to the city central shopping precinct. Yo... what people say » u can also take the free tour bus just around the corner. As for the dinning selections, plenty touristy and less-touristy ones are around. Extra note - We stayed in the Deluxe King Room for 2 nights. The room was very spacious, clean and the second we stepped into the room we felt we were staying in luxury. The full breakfast we had booked with the room was amazing. So much range. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel. Location of hotel was great - only 500m from Circular Quay and about 5min walk to Opera House. My fiance and I will definitely be coming back to the

    Absolutely everything! We were particularly impressed with the staff, who stuck just the right level of assistance -professional, friendly and helpful.The decor is beautiful. The lounge area relaxing and lovely in every way. Our room was absolutely delightful, very generous size, loved the decor, the beds and pillows very comfortable, not a sound ... what people say » disturbing our sleep, our paper was left at our door in a purpose made bag; music came on within minutes of us getting into the indoor swimming pool. - We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk. This is a great location for all of the sights. We requested something for the room and it was immediate. There is a good choice of food available

    we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite and it was just magnificent - the room, the cleanliness, the views, everything!! The staff were so friendly and helpful and our whole experience was just wonderful - we actually enjoyed our room more than the Pink concert we came down to see!! Thanks for the wonderful experience!! - Location right next ... what people say » to anz Stadium, we booked for the night of a concert but the concert date was changed and we had no problems get the date transfered. The room was clean, stylish and comfortable. Dining was excellent but note dessert is all four desserts.

    Got upgraded to a junior suite gorgeous room. All the detail in the room makes a big difference between the five star hotels in the world and this room had a lot of detail, very comfortable bed, TV in the bath, ambient lighting that changed colour around the bed, very comprehensive room service menu, lovely selection of teas, sink next to the tea... what people say » /coffee making facilities. - loved the location, the self contained rooms were spotless and very spacious. I have stayed there three times this year and plan to stay there again in the New Year and have recommended to my friends travelling with me in March. Highly recommend that its the best place to stay while in Sydney!!

    My fiancé and I recently celebrated our honeymoon at the Shangri La. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We received an early check in which was greatly appreciated after 24hours travelling from the UK. We also received a complimentary bottle of champagne & chocolates to celebrate our special occasion.
