  My favourite hostel where I always stay in Sydney, probably stayed there for 2 months in total. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean in general. Scary Canary is downstares and that is one awesome bar! Always make some great friends when staying at X Base! - Base Sydney is the best! I went to this backpackers twice. The... what people say » staff are really friendly. The city is just 5 minute walks. They even give a free for the whole and good price for others event such as Wildlife and etc.

  everything was excellent and would not look at any other hotel, next time I vist Sydney. 10 out 10 would recommend it to any one. - Good central location. Quiet at night. Helpful staff. Easy to get to and from the airport via the Museum stop.

  Staff were amazing - Aimee was so helpful and friendly - she absolutely made our stay at maze fantastic! All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - we had to most interaction with Aimee and loved her top- notch customer service skills. We were two mature sisters who are young at heart and she made us feel like we were 'one of the gang' - ... what people say » our age did not matter. :-) The convenience of the location is second to none. Kitchen facilities were outstanding - very clean and very well- organis - Location is very good. Walking to distance to central station which allows you to travel to most of the place on Sydney. Airport to this hotel, take airport train to Central station then u will be here. Generally, this is a decent place and not fantastic but acceptable. However, even in cold weather the room is a bit warm, thus not so sure how warm the room would be during summer as the fan does not appear to be very helpful.

  We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... And o... what people say » ur own bathroom :d woot woot!!!! Umm and yea it's just very friendly! - Customer service was superb. Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.
