The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. Very helpful staff, great position. Good value for money. Rooms were very clean and bright. Really appreciated extra touches such as free use of beach umbrellas and chairs as well as kids toys. Thanks for making our first day at Port Douglas so memorable.

Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! -

Jakob is an excellent host with a plethora of knowledge of the region and the services available to visitors; he helped to make our stay a memorable and pleasant week. We stayed for 8 nights at this fabulous accommodation. The studio was very well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable large bed. We over looked the garden with barbecue ,garden and pool. The staff are very friendly and recommended and booked days out for us. Would defiantly stay again. Port Douglas is a relaxed small town with great bars and resteraunts and good shopping.and the accommodation is in easy walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk.

There was an initial problem as I booked a twin room but got a double, for the first night the staff gave me an extra room for no extra cost, then stated that if I found another hotel, they would refund the difference, however, the staff realised that they had made a mistake and gave me the extra room for the rest of my stay at no extra cost, also

We stayed in a very nice, clean king bedroom with a great colour scheme. There is a small en-suite and comfy bed. A map of Port Douglas at reception. Free internet on provided ipad. Great customer service - reception is a phone, I called them twice and we waited 10mins. Lady came and apologised and gave us our keys, then the owner came and knocked on the door and apologised profusely with a bottle. Brilliant location. Would definitely stay again.

The owners were truly wonderful, helping us with bookings and ideas of activities. They posted the weather forecast every day, and had free wi-fi by the office. The apartment was large and comfortable, and everything worked well. Location was great, cross the street and within a block you are on the main promenade one direction or 4 mile beach

The owner was very pleasant and when we arrived allowed us to choose between two apartments available. The two bedroom apartment we chose was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. and the washer and dryer were an added plus. We would definitely return to Marina Terraces if ever in Port Douglas again.

We liked the layout of the Sands Resort and that every apartment looked out over the central garden and swimming pool area - a very pleasant atmosphere. The property was not a massive resort and was well secure. The management were very friendly and accommodating.A pleasant walk into the shopping precinct with a shuttle bus at reasonable cost at end of day.
