The staff were amazing, I work away and very often stay in high end hotels around Australia as I am in my early 20's I often get treated much differently but it was definitely not the case, there was a couple of noise complaints but the staff dealt with it in a very respectful manner. I thank you very much myself and friends had a great time and will definitely be recommended to friends and family.
all reviews » staff excellent, i emailed things i wanted to know when i arrived all was answered very happy. They smiled and felt good. close to shops / beach etc. if you have a car close to larger shopping centre 20 min from Fremantle/ Perth . Very happy with the location, whilst on the highway was still ok , i slept well traffic didnt affect me at all. I stayed in the motel and was very pleased with the room for the price. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite seemed to be newly renovated and very clean.The staff were excellent. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and a good range of cafes and an extensive supermarket and pharmacy. It was a big unit for a solo traveller but I enjoyed the space, it was clean, functional and all I needed for a short stay. It had a carpark and location was perfect. Most of all it was affordable for Perth prices. Stayed 4 nights, 2 bedroom apartment, upper floor. very large, good clean kitchen well equiped. Close to beach, supermarket and bus route for Perth city centre (35mins). Staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful - even going out of their way to deal with my queries. Breakfast was awesome - and quick which was a priority of mine. I liked that when I requested a letter to release funds held for room deposit be provided it was sent to me quickly. The service was great. Thanks. I have stayed in the two bedroom apartment. The condition of this apartment is better than I have expected. The price is quite low and reasonable. that i was upgraded to the sunmoon resort next door so i can not really comment on other place which they manage. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great and accessible to everything. Friendly reception staff. Washing machine fixed without issue when needed. Location easy walking distance to ATM shops Beach value for money. The location was wonderful for what we needed however a bit hard to get out into the main road traffic. The bed was really comfy and the location was good :). Every thing was good, clean and quiet. I'm not sure why i had to pay extra $100 to get it back 3-5 days after i left. i dont understand why it could not have been done there. this is my only gripe. I was unable to open the window, and as it was hot, I had the aircon on overnight. After a few days it caused cold symptoms. In retropsect, I should have asked if the window could have been unlocked for me. Very close to the ocean but sadly no view as there was a multistory hotel across the road blocking it. I was unable to get internet in my room as there was no facilities for a cable and my laptop does not do cordless. I was able to use the internet in reception for free however. Nothing in particular. Pool & pool area run down & not available. Although reception, bar and restaurant provided at Sunmoon Resort sister hotel the pool facilities are not available for Scarborough Observation guests. Parking was a bit restrictive but as I don't have a problem with backing I managed well. Matress needs changing. Reception advised other guests our car park was available so we had to park roadside on 2 of 7 nights - not ideal when roadside is illegal. Washing machine broke down twice. Shared toilets and showers but you get what you pay for. The budget rooms do need some upgrades especially to the hot water system. The written instructions are clear but do not resolve the problem of water being either cool or scorching hot. Wife recieved a burnt back and buttocks from this problem for rooms designed for families with kids this needs to be addressed before someone is seriously injured. Cleanliness really let the overall experience down i.e. cockroaches in the cutlery cabinet. Car Parking limited car space. Exposed drain pipe from room above. Volume lock control didnt work on our tv and I guess next door as we could hear their tv loud and clear when we first arrived. Noisey neighbors. It was very small accomodation, much like an ensuite cabin in a caravan park, however in saying that it was very comfortable and very clean. We stayed in the backpackers wing. Very, very basic - beds and small fridge - that's it. I fyou want to make a coffee - bad luck. no problem. Small Room Room 32 : REALLY Noisy when someone has a shower. Although I paid for budget accommodation it felt like I was in a construction site portable office so maybe sum colour in the room would've helped :). It was a very old block of flats with extremly basic facilities. The window screans airconditioner and exhaust fan in the shower could do with a dust and clean as it was very visable even from a distance. Very noisy at night. The curtains in all rooms were dirty and not fitting properly and not conected to the hooks properly. There were no signs out the front for the resort. We couldn't find it for ages and were late because the signs were for a different thing. . This is very poor. Photos on website showed the new hotel rooms and not the old units up the road. The unit was fine, although I was disappointed to find that it was not the accommodation I thought I had booked. The menu was very limited in the restaurant. The room service food was awful - would never eat tehre again. There was a terrible smell coming from the internal courtyard - probably the water fountains. The heating system was not working. Was very cold. first room had a large puddle on floor from fridge being defrosted, changed room and 2nd room had toilet roll holder falling off wall. It was difficult to get to. We learnt our lesson not to book Hotels with no refund. Our flight got bought forward, we did not need the second night, but already paid for. The price for a 50 year old flat that would barely pass for backpackers. No value for money at all. Description overrated for the budget accommodation and poor value for money. Ok for a backpackers place but then expensive!! Toilet facilities a long way from room on different floor. Never see before!!. Our apartment smelt of cigarette smoke, not enough blankets. Restaurant not value for money. From the outside it looks like you are going to stay at a real dumpy, cheap place. Had to up stairs to go to the toilet.shower cubicles were crappy.you could smell cigarette smoke in the hall.my wife had just come out of hospital,so we left in less than one hour.wast of money.we are pensioners. The mould on the bathroom ceiling, the smell of urine in the bathroom, the curtain pelmet was down and laying on the floor. This place is not what you advertise , it is a dump !!!. False advertiseing no chair or desk in room, Overpriced only backpacker standard. with small rooms. Strange creepy place......... I cannot believe that these rooms can continue to be sold as advertised. I was appalled at the obvious lack of ongoing maintenance, the building had a horrible stench of cigarette smoke, the bathrooms were not particularly clean, the furniture was falling apart and the curtain rail was hanging out of the wall. When I booked the pictures were not of a budget room, by far my worst accomodation ever. The smallest tv in the world. No aircon in bedrooms. Sitting area out front with no seating. The picture on website bears no relationship with what we received. Dirty beds, airconditioner not working properly aged and parking bad.
