  The location was great, just a short walk to Hastings st and there were buggy's operating during designated hours for those who didn't want to walk. We found the walk very pleasant though. Our room was great, we stayed in a budget apartment and it was actually really lovely and alot bigger then we expected. The pool is lovely also. - We enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer, the games room for the kids, the resort pools, the breakfast selection, even the friendly and helpfull staff.   We stayed in a 2 bedroom single level apartment in the Mermaid wing and it was so handy, and walked straight out to the pool area. Throughly recommend it. We had friends staying at the same time in a loft apartment and they wish they had of booked one like ours. Apartment was well stocked with all the things like vacum cleaner to a variety of kitchen untensils. Our apartment was reasonably spacious and had a balcony & a courtyard and both bedrooms had an ensuite.
