Great location if you are driving to and from Melbourne, with free parking and convenient location just far enough from the city which makes it easy to find and easy to get back on the city link. Tram stop right outside the motel makes for easy trip into the city. Good, clean budget accommodation.

It is located at end of Sydney Road whith hundreds of shops and eateries and with a beautiful park across the road. Though the inn does not look very attractive from the outside, the room's interior is quite tastelfully done and is well-furnished. The reception staff were all fantastic- thoughtful , kind and caring. The room was spotless- the bathroom pristine clean and new and we were placed in a quiet part of the Hotel due to the sad circumstances we found ourselves in Melbourne in. Great location and the park fantastic for walks. Nice cafes nearby. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone. When booking we requested a quiet room if possible- this was duly provided and was beyond our expectation. Our greeting at reception by Nantha was genuinely warm, courteous and informative; we received a very warm welcome. The location of the hotel is very good with easy access to the city centre by tram. We have stayed here several times and the service has always been excellent. The reception staff are always pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located. The tram is a minute walk away and having parking is an added bonus. The staff member, in reception was lovely and helpful. We recieved a moderate upgrade for the same price as what we originally paid when booking online. Well locaed. Next to Princess Park and a stones throw away from all the bars and good places to eat along Sydney Rd. Reminded me so much of the motels that we always stayed in on family holidays in the 80s! Receptionist (Nantha) did an excellent job! He gave us an upgrade to a room with a spa and lend us to miki cards for public transportation! Parking is free and just outside your room. Tram into the city costs $3,50 and takes 15 minutes. The room was clean and airy The bathroom facilities in good condition and helpful for my currently disabled wife. The staff were friendly and could assist with local knowledge suitable for the interstate traveller. The staff served us with top attitude. Amenities were enough and the room was surprisingly spacious. Though the establishment was old and the items in room were also old, but they were good enough. Everything. In Front if our roomdoor was the ashtray andd sometimes people were smoking and talking in the middle of the night. That was not only loud, but we could also smell the smoke through the door. Did not like the traffic noise also the guests staying in room above as this was very noisy and we were unable to sleep. bathroom was perfectly adequate but a bit cramped. old room. There was a slight smell of smoke in my room.I'm afraid that spoilt the overnight stay for me. Needs updating & a good clean. Staying on the third floor with no lift and no offer of assistance with luggage. This was very hard on an older person with very bad knees. Some warning would have been appreciated. Nothing. I should have booked for lower ground not upstairs will know for next time. not enough milk. The noise of the traffic at night. Aircon is old. Bed was hard as a rock & pillows uncomfortable. Had trouble with the door. Key did not work took a few go to open. No on site dining room.
