Location was awesome - absolutely lived up to the pictures, and we loved it. The space was also good - we had two separate apartments with a connecting door. - the staff very nice, design of the bedroom very good, lot of good amenities like a washing machine, a oven, tea coffee, blanket and so on

This was a great place to stay. All the comforts of home and more. From the complimentary breakfast,laundry and soap, toilettries, kitchen supplies,heated beds ,fabulous lighting,fireplace,modern bathrooms (4),everything was well thought of for the guests comfort. We stayed in Hedge Cottage, aptly named because of the high hedge at the front and side, ensuring maximum privacy. This is a nicely renovated period home, divided into separate apartments. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the homely feel. Definitely good value . -

Wellington could be seen from our room. We cannot recommend the Henry
Jones highly enough. Five stars. -
The staff were very friendly and very helpfully with recommending restaurants, and sightseeing etc..they were happy to let us leave our rental car there until we were catching our flight at lunch time. I will certainly recommend the Henry jones as a place to stay when in tassie to my friends...

We stayed 5 nights in Dec 2014 and enjoyed our stay very much.
The location was excellent - easy walk to Salamanca Place , ferry wharves, Battery Point and not far to CBD.
Very clean with up-to-date appliances.
Trevor was very helpful, even taking us to the airport at the end of our stay.

A previous guest had clearly smoked in the room. I could not re-locate to another room since there are no reception staff available after 4:00 pm on Sundays.
The hotel does not accept American Express cards. This was not clear on letsbookhotel.com where I used my American Express card to secure the booking. -
