Loved how close we were to Surfers Paradise beach, loved the fact just down stairs was hogs breath and another bar for us to go to. Loved that they did pub crawls and other group activities if you were interested. and loved that it was super cheap to stay in the heart of the gold coast.

There's a great view over the marina and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hostel is easy to find and has lots of free parking.

Shower/Toilet facilities were quite gross when we stayed although I do believe they are cleaned daily, so mustve just had a grubby lot of people. Other backpackers were quite noisy - sitting outside with there ipod dock blasting til late at night.

Is not really close to Surfer Paradise, according to google is like 4km...what is bad if you plan to go out in the night because there is no night buses and you will need to come back walking...

The morning staff were rude, bed had a piece of wire sticking through the mattress.
