  They rang us up and gave us a free upgrade , gave us free entry to club and friendly staff I will definetley be going back!!!! Thanks Byron bay yha x - best hostel we stayed in so far, clean and new facilities, pool, close to beach and town ctr, friendly and helpful staff

  I arrived very late in the evening maybe 11pm and could not find any hostel open, i tried calling the '24 hour' receptions of other hostels nearby but no one answered. i found the cape byron yha in an awesome spot and it looked open so i walked in and was welcomed by a lady who happened to still be working late, she organised my room no problem. V... what people say » ery polite, friendly and super helpful. The place seems to be managed very well and I enjoyed staying there. Stones throw from the beach and 2 min wal - the location was fantastic as well as the price for a bed! happy was very comfortable.
