From the time we entered the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The renovations really gave you the feeling of being back in the 1920's with plaques giving you little snippets of the history of some of the rooms. Tours were also available. The food was wonderful and in the original dining room of the school. We will definitely stay there again. The Hotel had more of a family atmosphere, with staff treating you as a treasured friend rather than as a client. The Hotel is steeped in history, and has been restored to reflect a bygone age. The food is superb, and there is an extensive beverage list. I'm looking forward to visiting again.
