We were a family group of 4 "seniors" and booked the three bedroom "Top deck" suite and it was ideal for our purposes. It was an interesting, well equipped and comfortable suite and we enjoyed it so much we bought fish and chips and three bottles of wine and dined in. The continental breakfast was included and perfect for us, and a full cooked breakfast was available for those who wanted it. Excellent.
all reviews » Friendly staff, very welcoming and easy to check in/out process. Bridge room was beautiful with a hugh bath which was very relaxing. Breakfast in the morning provided a homely feel and was a great start to our driving day along the Great Ocean Road. Would recommend staying here for a stop along The Great Ocean Road. This is the best hotel We have stayed. The b&b is within mins walk to Foodwork supermarket and lots of eateries. The cottage is beautiful and We were impressed with a heated bed and big bath tub and lots of privacy. We Will definitely stay there again if We go back to the Great Ocean road. We got a great online price ($99) for one of their standard rooms. But it was rather more than standard - very big and comfortable, with nice little sheltered courtyard. Breakfast included (continental) and it was just fine. Very handy to shops, restauants and beach. All in all, a great find. We would highly recommend this boutique hotel to all travellers, the room is cleverly designed with comfort and style. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a five star experience. Felt sensor light in bathroom good not sure whether you could switch it off of a night. We were sorry we didn't have a front room but our booking was a fairly late one... The receptionist requested us to pay another $20.00 for extra for my kid. Paying for wi-fi. The foot of the bed base protruded resulting in multiple shin bruises. The USB input on the TV was only for firmware updates, and wouldn't play our movies - but that's neither her nor there. Maybe nice to offer a complimentary bottle of wine with room. Have breakfast a little later for those who want a little lie in :). A bit underwhelmed by the breakfast, would have loved some fresh fruit, instead of the canned stuff :) Also, a milk alternative for dairy/lactose intolerant. Breakfast a bit ordinary and staff needed a little training. Minor suggestions. Breakfast was served a bit too early, but wasn't too upset pace was stunning :). nothing. Not having free wi-fi and not having one table in room for writing letters or working with the laptop. Adults were in one room above main reception and children were in another room some distance away (couldn't have gotten further away from us and be on the premises) - despite being the same booking. no table in room no fan no toaster.
