Fraser Place was very well positioned for a tourist in Melbourne with the City Shuttle and Circular Tram close by and very accessible. Great location in central city but in a quieter part, so no noisy disturbances from outside. The room is set-up with modern décor and all amenities are in modern condition. Plenty of room for 2 people. Staff were friendly and professional. I would thoroughly recommend Fraser Place for a central city stay in Melbourne. We were there for the Australian Open Tennis, and we could walk to / from there in approx 25 mins easily, although trams are nearby too if needed.

For people driving like myself think this is the most value-for-money stay in Mebourne city centre. Costs AUD25 for 24hr parking.
I manage to find my way to hotel using my GPS with ease.
It's only about less than 5min walk to the tram station (free city circle tram) for those not driving. only thing the tram ends at 6pm and 9pm on wkns. Without trams it will be a 15min walk from Spencer St area as you need to get around this big railway station (i think) and you can't walk straight down Bourk

i like there are lots of electric and home appliances, like microwave oven, washing machine, stove, etc. There are shops and supermarkets nearby thus cooking in the room is very convenient esp. my mother is a vegetarian. It also near the melbourne central, queen victoria markets. And many tourist points can be reach on foot. (If you don't mind to walk)

The close proximity of the tram stops for all directions of the city was fabulous. Close to many lane way cafes and restaurants. Very clean and spacious apartment with full self contained amenities.
Away from direct busy central Melbourne streets as this hotel is around the area of the law courts etc with less hassle of traffic.

Its location - right in the centre of Elizabeth Street, within minutes walking distance from everything - shops, restaurants, cafes etc etc. Very clean, excellent and helpful staff. We arrived at midnight and Tony, the night watchman was there to meet us. Highly recommended. -

The staff were friendly and professional. The motel room was clean and a good size. The kitchen was small and compact and we were able to prepare and cook meals to save money. It was nice and quiet and the beds were firm but comfortable. We would have no hesitation in returning to that motel when we visit Melbourne again.
