  The semi-private kitchen in the cabin was very convenient. The whole cabin was clean and we had nice advices from the staff to book a day tour to the whitsundays islands. The boardwalk to the lagoon was very nice. - Friendly family-run property. They were very helpful and helped us to book a great deal on a trip to the Whitsundays last minute.   They were great! We had an unplanned late arrival and I had been unable to call to warn them. When we arrived they were closed and I was terrified that we would have a problem. Made dinner there one night and was impressed with the dishes and cooking tools provided. The bathroom is a bath house, but we were just acros - The location was awesome and with in short walking distance to public transport. The staff were extremely helpful and happy to assist in anyway they could.

  Everything is close. The backpacker is more like a villa. Stayed in a double room, was very good and spacious. There's a calm bar inside. Left my bag there after check out without problem. - The hostel was very clean and spacious. We were on an 8 bed dorm and it was fantastic with great facilities.   We had a private room and it was REALLY private - not like in other hostels where you share a paper wall with neighbours. The hostel looks a little like a motel but it is clean and peacfull and on the main street.
